this is a great knitting bag i bought it for my mother and she is really pleased with it . there is plenty of room to keep your wool pattens and needles in and the bag doesnt get heavy once it is full up . and it is a good size to store away when not being used.

We’ve bought a second one of these Minky retractable washing lines now. We extend it to approx 12 metres and use it on a very frequent basis. It works perfectly well as long as you wrap the line around the bottom bit twice.

The first one lasted 15 months and my only criticism is that after a while it does not retract the entire line anymore as the mechanism wears out. That’s why I have given it 4 stars and not 5.

Other than that – and especially for that price – it’s absolutely fine!

It was brilliant and lasted a year and a half, finally breaking when the mechanism stopped working. For the price, I was very pleased with the life of it. However, I went on to replace it three times and all three broke after only a month- the line stops retracting and looks just as bad as a regular washing line when I don't have it out. Very disappointing- will not be buying another and am stuck with it attached to the wall with the line wrapped up around it. I initially bought one of these as I had read good reviews on it. It was brilliant and lasted a year and a half, finally breaking when the mechanism stopped working. For the price, I was very pleased with the life of it. However, I went on to replace it three times and all three broke after only a month- the line stops retracting and looks just as bad as a regular washing line when I don’t have it out. Very disappointing- will not be buying another and am stuck with it attached to the wall with the line wrapped up around it. Would suggest looking at alternatives before buying.

We thought this would be very useful, but in practice, the line is too thin for normal clothes pegs to grip and it also tends to stretch under the weight of sheets, etc., causing the washing to slide together. I’m no interior designer but I picked out these for a scottish mate during the six nations as a laugh (along with England for me) I also have the Stars ‘n’ Stripes and the Union Jack – eveyone has commented favourably! Right then off to do my nails lol!!

Got it very quickly from supplier, heated up a living room 10×16 in about 20 minutes. its a cold room and it usually takes over an hour with the central heating. would recommend if your looking at this or anything similar

I got this heater for one of the bedrooms that is always very cold and can not be warmed by the central heating without cooking the whole house.

The unit feels very well constructed and the wheels and cable reel are very handy to have.
It will heat up a small to medium room up in no time at all and I am finding my self having to turn it down a notch as it warms the room very effectively and quickly, even on the lower power usage setting!

Although it doesn’t say in the description there is a small neon indicator light that shows when the heater is on and heating, which is rather useful.

I only gave it 4 stars as the power cable is a little on the short side at just under 1.40m long, although I could probably fit a longer one if need be. The heater is only going to draw 7 amps max on the highest power setting (1500watt/230V=6.52amp) so as long as you use a thick cored wire rated at 13amps it should be fine.

Summery: A decent oil filled heater that is very fast and effective at heating small to medium rooms.

Update: During the freezing winter of 2010 my boiler broke down and this heater was able to heat my bedroom all night long.

Although it's not a big size heater it generates a lot of heat enough to warm a big room with an open staircase space as well. The heat even reaches the first floor corridor.<br/>The only downside is that after a month it's still has a bit of smell which all new heaters have. We purchased this heater about a month ago, and we are very happy with it. Although it’s not a big size heater it generates a lot of heat enough to warm a big room with an open staircase space as well. The heat even reaches the first floor corridor.
The only downside is that after a month it’s still has a bit of smell which all new heaters have. But as I said it smells just a bit and I hope only because it’s still new.
